Seeking a bookkeeper with nonprofit accounting experience to manage financial records and ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and requirements to handle bookkeeping for small nonprofit with minimal monthly transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable in Quickbooks
Reconcile bank statements
Monitor grant allocation
Record transactions in appropriate fund categories
Prepare monthly, quarterly financial reports
Assist in preparation of annual Form 990 and tax documentation
Support year end financial statement preparation
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Quickbooks
Experience with nonprofit or fund accounting
2 years+ bookkeeping experience in nonprofit setting
Ability to meet deadlines
