Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy (New York, NY)

The Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy (ICP) is seeking a Marketing & Community Engagement Coordinator to manage the day-to-day systems that keep our marketing, registration, and community communications running smoothly. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone who enjoys balancing technology, organization, and creativity while ensuring projects move seamlessly from planning to completion.

Working closely with ICP's Marketing Specialist, who provides strategic direction and creative leadership, you will play a key role in coordinating the execution of ICP's marketing and community engagement efforts. You will own the day-to-day management of multiple platforms and processes while collaborating on initiatives that support the organization's educational programs, fundraising efforts, and community outreach.

    Responsibilities

    • Track all upcoming educational programs and events, ensuring they are published on the ICP website and promoted through timely email communications.
    • Manage registration and CRM operations in Bloomerang and Eventbrite, including creating event listings, tracking registrations, and exporting attendee data.
    • Coordinate the execution of email marketing campaigns through Mailchimp.
    • Update website content to ensure information is current and accurate.
    • Collaborate with ICP's Marketing Specialist to support marketing campaigns and organizational communications.
    • Over time, create flyers, social media graphics, and other promotional materials using Canva.
    • Provide year-round support for ICP's development and fundraising efforts, with responsibilities increasing from August through November.
    • Provide hands-on support at fundraising and community events, including occasional additional hours during peak fundraising periods.

    Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once. The ideal candidate enjoys learning new technology, solving problems, and ensuring that projects move from planning to completion.

    Helpful experience includes:

    • Mailchimp or other email marketing platforms
    • Bloomerang or another CRM platform
    • Eventbrite or similar event registration software
    • Canva
    • Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
    • Prior experience in nonprofit marketing, communications, event coordination, fundraising support, or email marketing

This position is being thoughtfully reimagined as ICP continues to strengthen and refine its marketing and community engagement efforts. While the core responsibilities are outlined here, we expect the role to continue evolving over time.

    Why ICP?

For more than 50 years, the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy has been dedicated to expanding access to high-quality mental health care while training the next generation of psychotherapists. Every event, email, and communication helps connect people to education, professional development, and mental health services that strengthen our community. If you're looking for work with purpose and want to contribute to a mission-driven organization making a meaningful difference, we'd love to hear from you.
