The Communications Director (CD) will serve as the One America Movement’s chief storyteller, amplifying the voices of faith leaders across our network to inspire people of faith to take a stand against toxic polarization. Through compelling stories, the CD will showcase how the religious community can be a powerful, healing force in a divided society. By crafting and executing a dynamic communications strategy, the CD will tell these transformative stories that engage new participants, challenge assumptions, and set an example for the nation on how to speak and act in ways that bridge divides.
The Communications Director will report directly to the COO and will have the full weight of the organization behind them to build and implement the storytelling and communications strategy. They will manage a comms budget and work closely with programs staff, including a content manager embedded within the programs team.

Compensación
Our compensation package includes:
- 100% employee coverage for medical, dental, vision and life insurance, 50% for family members
- 401k plan after six months of service with 4% employer match
- 11 major holidays observed, plus additional time off for religious observances
- Paid two-week winter break (office closure)
- Four weeks of paid vacation
- Paid sick leave
- Paid parental leave (Up to 12 weeks)
- Paid sabbatical (2 weeks following four years of service; 12 weeks following seven years)
- Professional development budget
- Hybrid schedule for those in DC Metro/DMV
- Organizational flexibility for asynchronous work and caretaking responsibilities
