Position Summary
SBS is seeking a Development Associate to join our US team in Colorado.
The Development Associate plays a major role in organizing our approach to working with our donors and supporters. Primary responsibilities include appropriately tracking and acknowledging gifts from donors, working with the Business Development team to calendar and plan donor cultivation activities, developing content for communications to individual donors, and supporting the Acting CEO in building strong relationships with supporters.
This position requires outstanding organizational skills, strong written communication, excellent judgment and ethics, the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently, and the ability to problem solve. The Development Associate reports to the Acting CEO.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Donor Management (50%)
Communications Support (25%)
Administrative Support (25%)

Physical demands and work environment:
This is a fully remote position. Employee will need to be comfortable working on a computer for long periods and be able to attend regular virtual meetings. Employee will need to be able to communicate effectively in a virtual environment.
