    About St. Andrew’s:

St. Andrew’s is a growing, creative Episcopal community seeking to embody God’s love

for all, without exception, by deepening spirituality, expanding hospitality, and

enacting justice. Founded in 1890 as a place of worship for all regardless of life

circumstance, we remain a creative, radically welcoming community blurring the

boundaries between what is “in” and “outside” of church.

Over the past five years, our parish has grown significantly—not only in numbers, but in

the depth and breadth of our life together. Our community gathers for worship, small

groups, children’s and youth formation, justice ministries, theater and music, meals,

celebrations, and opportunities simply to share life together. People from across the

country join us for online programming, and at the same time, we are woven into the life

of our local area, with our campus serving as a meeting place and public park.

The role supports the people, systems, teams, and ministries that make our community

thrive, helping build the organizational capacity we need to keep growing and live more

    fully into God’s mission.

    Summary:

At St. Andrew’s, we believe ministry belongs to the whole community.

This job is not about doing things for people. It is about connecting people,

developing leaders, strengthening teams, and helping people discover their gifts

    and exercise meaningful ministry together.

Working closely with our Rector and lay leaders, they:

    • Help newcomers move from first visit to genuine belonging.
    • Recruit, support, and develop volunteers and ministry leaders.
    • Strengthen programs for children, teens, and families.
    • Help create events, groups, and experiences that deepen community.
    • Coordinate communications that connect people with one another and parish life.
    • Strengthen the systems and teams that enable a growing community to flourish.

This is a full-time position that includes approximately three Sunday mornings per month and one to two evenings per week, with flexibility for remote work up to 2 days a week.

    Timeline and How to Apply:

Applications will be reviewed as they are received, with interviews starting on

November 5. The position is open until filled.

Applications can be addressed to the Rev. Hilary Greer, Rector and emailed to:

    church@standrews-yardley.org.

    Two Ways to Join Us:

We know the right person could come from different stages of professional life.

An emerging or developing professional may join us as Community Life Associate,

taking meaningful responsibility while receiving active mentorship and opportunities for

    substantial professional growth.

An experienced leader may join us as Community Life Minister, supervising staff,

coaching lay leaders and teams, helping shape organizational strategy, and serving as

a senior partner to the Rector.

We welcome candidates from nonprofit leadership, community organizing, education,

ministry, communications, program management, hospitality, and other people-centered

fields. Prior church employment is not required.

Above all, we are looking for someone who loves people, sees possibilities in others,

communicates exceptionally well, combines relational intelligence with strong

organizational skills, and wants to help create a community where people can belong,

    grow, and lead.

    Compensation and Benefits:

Anticipated salary: $62,000–$68,000, depending on experience. Candidates with

substantial professional leadership experience who require compensation above this

range are also encouraged to apply; higher compensation may be considered subject

to Vestry (our governing board) approval.

    Compensación

Generous benefits include: full employee health insurance; a 5% employer pension

contribution plus up to an additional 4% employer match (potential 9% total); three

weeks of vacation plus one week of personal or sick leave (four weeks total); an

additional week and funding for spiritual retreat or continuing education; eleven federal

holidays; professional expenses; and a cell phone allowance.
