    The Development Director guides the fundraising and communications functions to power our mission. As a member of the leadership team, you will oversee staff, build strong donor relationships, manage our grants program, and drive strategy. You’ll be responsible for planning, development and implementation of the development strategy, coordinating at strategic and tactical levels of the organization.

    You’ll partner closely with the Co-Director of Development (your supervisor) and the Development Manager (who you’ll manage) to implement the development strategy. You’ll work closely with program leads to ensure consistent messaging and strategic alignment.

    The ideal candidate brings a relationship-first mindset, has demonstrated growth in development experience, and has a passion for justice, equity and community-led change. They are personable, organized, great at written and verbal communications, and lead teams with empathy and humility.

    Compensación

    • 32 hour work week.
    • PTO vacation and sick leave:
      • PTO starts at 3 weeks and scales to 5 weeks based on tenure
      • Additional Paid 7 days sick leave
      • Additional ALL STAFF Seasonal Pause for one week in summer
      • Additional paid federal holidays and birthday off
      • Additional paid monthly self-care half-day
    • Remote working and semi-flexible schedule
    • At Home Work Stipend $200/month - supports phone, internet and work from home needs
    • Professional Development Stipend $500/ year - supports your learning and development
    • Health and Wellness Stipend $500/ year - supports any wellness needs outside of work
    • Transportation Benefits: RTD EcoPass; Ego Carshare and Community Cycles Membership
    • Unemployment and Severance Package after 1 year of employment
    • Health Insurance (NOTE): We are actively exploring this and will likely offer employer sponsored health insurance packages by Fall 2025, or another benefit towards this end.
