Event Coordinator

Teens of Color Abroad (TOCA) is a nonprofit organization committed to expanding access to high-quality global education for students of color. Through a combination of virtual exchange and study abroad programs, TOCA delivers immersive language instruction and cross-cultural learning experiences. We exist to close the global education gap by ensuring that underserved students gain the skills, exposure, and confidence necessary to thrive academically, personally, and professionally. Our inaugural Fall Fundraising Gala on October 8, 2026 is a landmark event that will bring together supporters, partners, and community members to celebrate our mission and raise funds for our 2027 programs.

TOCA is seeking a highly organized, creative, and mission-aligned Event Coordinator to lead the planning and execution of our inaugural Fall Fundraising Gala. This is a contract position beginning immediately and running through event completion and post-event wrap-up. The Event Coordinator will work closely with TOCA's CEO, Board of Directors, and Development Committee to deliver a world-class event that reflects the spirit and ambition of our organization.

This is a contract/freelance role.
