    About the Advancement team:

At BEAM, our Advancement team is a collaborative and dynamic group of six full-time staff members, working together to make sure we have the resources to fuel big dreams. Building strong, meaningful relationships with funders and supporters is at the heart of what we do. Our funders consist of individuals (45% of revenue), foundations (40%), and corporations (15%).

As our Advancement Coordinator, you will work closely with our individual giving, institutional giving, and communications teams as we raise more than $10 million annually — critical funding that will drive innovation and provide stability as we build towards future growth. The role will report to our Individual Giving and Communications Manager. This is a unique opportunity to play an important role in building the foundation for BEAM’s future — and to learn so much along the way!

    About the Advancement Coordinator role:

As BEAM’s Advancement Coordinator, you’ll be a key member of our fundraising and communications teams — helping us raise over $10 million annually to expand access to transformative STEM opportunities for our students. You’ll help make all our work possible, contributing across individual and institutional giving, events, and marketing, gaining hands-on experience while collaborating with passionate, mission-driven teammates.

We’re looking for someone who’s energized by learning, thrives on organization and creativity, and wants to make a real difference. If you’re excited by the idea of sharing powerful student stories, building strong relationships, and growing your skills in a dynamic nonprofit setting — all while helping shape the future of STEM education — this is the opportunity for you.
