Job Title: Programming Manager
Location: Wainwright House, Rye, New York
Reports To: Director & General Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time, on-site as needed
Compensation: Base salary $65,000 – $75,000, commensurate with experience
Schedule: 40 hours/week, with work hours flexible to accommodate when there are evening/weekend events
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are presently seeking a full-time Programming Manager to drive Wainwright House programming and boost community engagement via our website, newsletter, and social media channels. The ideal candidate will have experience spearheading all aspects of program curation and will be attracted to Wainwright House’s mission.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the creation and continuous evolution of Wainwright House’s programming by identifying community trends, sourcing facilitators, and delivering high-quality events across multiple modalities
- Conceptualize and execute end-to-end promotional campaigns for events while tailoring messaging and visuals for different audiences and channels
- Support our Director and Board of Trustees in building a strong membership offering
- Boost relationship building with other non-profits and local community organizations
- Manage all marketing materials, newsletter, social media channels, and website content (Wix)
- Will include support for additional events at times and other administrative support for programs
- Reports to the Director and General Manager of Wainwright House
POSITION Requirements:
- 3+ years of proven experience planning, promoting and executing a variety of programs
- Excellent relationship building and relationship management experience
- Interest in wellness, personal growth and mission-driven programming
- Broad creative and communication capabilities
- Experience maintaining, tracking and expanding social media presence, and creation and upkeep of email funnels
- Ability to create on-brand, print-ready flyers and digital event materials
- Proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, or Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
- Familiarity with using website design programs, such as Wix
