    Descripción

Lead with compassion. Strengthen programs. Change lives.

Epilepsy is a serious neuro-disability that affects 1 in 26 people—more than 3 million Americans. It is more common than Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and cerebral palsy combined. In Florida, approximately 403,300 adults and 26,200 children live with epilepsy.

For more than 35 years, the Epilepsy Agency of the Big Bend (EABB) has ensured that no one faces epilepsy alone. We help individuals and families overcome stigma, isolation, and limited access to care by connecting them with the treatment, resources, and support they need to thrive.

    The Role

The Client Services Manager (CSM) is a leadership-track position for a professional with strong client-care experience and proven administrative skills. While maintaining a limited caseload, the CSM ensures program quality, oversees compliance and reporting, and mentors staff to deliver consistent, high-impact services.

This role requires both the compassion of an experienced case manager and the technical skills of a program manager—proficiency in Microsoft Office, polished professional writing, and the ability to analyze and interpret data. Over time, the CSM will supervise Care Coordination Managers and play a central role in developing staff and shaping systems of care.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage a limited caseload, including enrollment, care planning, and navigation support
    • Train, onboard, and coach Care Coordination Managers to strengthen service quality and consistency
    • Lead quality assurance efforts and ensure compliance with funder requirements
    • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for funders and stakeholders
    • Analyze service data to identify trends, measure outcomes, and recommend improvements
    • Provide coverage during staff absences to ensure continuity of care
    • Represent EABB during audits, site visits, and stakeholder meetings

    Qualifications

    • Master’s in Social Work (LCSW preferred) or related professional field such as counseling (LMHC/LPC/LMFT), nursing, or healthcare administration; a bachelor’s degree with significant experience will be considered
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
    • Demonstrated ability to independently produce polished reports, SOPs, and professional correspondence (writing samples may be requested)
    • Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in case management, patient navigation, or related health and social service roles
    • Familiarity with chronic disease self-management programs
    • Supervisory experience or demonstrated readiness to assume leadership responsibilities
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret service data for program evaluation
    • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to collaborate across teams
    • Commitment to serving vulnerable populations with respect and compassion
    • Preferred: Direct experience with epilepsy, neuro-disability services, or safety-net health systems.
