Project Assistant Intern

About the Role

The Project Support Intern will assist the Project Consultant and team with support for community sessions and related activities. This is a learning-focused opportunity for students interested in LGBTIQ+ rights, mental health, advocacy, or community development.

Key Responsibilities

• Help prepare materials and logistics for sessions on LGBTQI+ legal rights, mental health support, crisis response, and community advocacy
• Assist with note-taking, simple documentation, and feedback collection (while maintaining strict confidentiality)
• Support coordination and basic administrative tasks related to the project
• Contribute to creating accessible resources under guidance from the team

Who We’re Looking For

• Students currently pursuing a final year Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred)
• Genuine interest in LGBTQI+ rights, gender equality, and social justice
• Willingness to learn about trauma-informed and do-no-harm approaches
• Good communication skills, reliability, and respect for confidentiality
• Prior volunteer or campus experience in related areas is a plus but not required
