Educational and Social Support Internship
We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as an intern at one of our esteemed social inclusion partners in Agrigento, Sicily. This internship is ideal for students or graduates who are passionate about education, psychology, and social engagement. You will gain hands-on experience in supporting vulnerable groups while making a meaningful impact on people’s lives.
Main Tasks:
Support to Educators and Psychologists:
- Accompany educators and psychologists during individual and group sessions with children, adolescents, and families.
- Observe professional practices and contribute to note-taking, preparation of materials, and follow-up activities.
- Assist in creating a supportive environment for participants during interviews and meetings.
Workshop Design and Facilitation:
- Collaborate in the design of workshops for disadvantaged children and adolescents, focusing on self-expression, teamwork, and communication.
- Help animate and lead creative, educational, and recreational activities that address current social issues.
- Adapt activities to the needs of participants, fostering inclusion and active participation.
After-School Support:
- Provide assistance to children and young people with Specific Learning Disabilities (DSA) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
- Support homework, study skills, and organizational strategies adapted to individual needs.
- Encourage motivation, autonomy, and self-confidence in the learning process.
Work with Vulnerable Groups:
- Participate in activities aimed at the social inclusion of people with disabilities and developmental difficulties.
- Assist in recreational, educational, or rehabilitative programmes for children with special needs.
Cross-Cutting Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the hosting team to plan and evaluate activities.
- Promote intercultural dialogue and bring a European dimension to local initiatives.
- Contribute to communication and dissemination activities (e.g., documenting experiences, sharing results, preparing short reports).

Requirements:
- You must be eligible for the Erasmus program.
- You must be able to commit to a minimum of 4 months working on-site in Agrigento, Sicily.
- You must have an intermediate level (B1) of both French and either English or Italian.
