    Descripción

    The Arca Foundation is seeking a part time (15 hours/week) Grants and Administrative Intern to support grants management and administrative activities for the foundation. We are looking for a results-oriented team player with a proven track record managing multiple projects at one time, and with a passion for advancing social and economic justice. The Grants and Administrative Intern reports directly to the Grants and Operations Associate with an ideal start date on September 1, 2025. This is a hybrid short-term position with an end date on December 1, 2025.

    Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Supporting data entry and maintenance for the foundation’s grants management system and website
    • Assisting with day-to-day administrative needs such as filing, typing, copying, and scanning documents
    • Assisting with logistical program needs to ensure efficient operating of office
    • Assisting with Arca Board Meeting planning, preparation, and coordination
    • Coordinating with Grants and Operations Associate for all logistics related to the Arca Board Meeting, including materials, supplies, and restaurant reservations
    • Managing administrative board meeting activities including setting up and cleaning up meeting space and ensuring board members have needs met
    • Assisting the Executive Director and Grants and Operations Associate in preparation for grant making dockets
    • Communicating with grant partners and other key contacts

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
    • Proficiency in Google Suite
    • Strong writing and communication skills
    • Previous database management experience, a plus
    • Attention to detail, organization skills, and a superior work ethic
    • Excellent time management and communication skills
    • An interest in philanthropy and a demonstrated commitment to social justice

    Compensation

    This is a paid internship opportunity. An hourly pay of $20.00 per hour will be provided. This position is non-exempt.
