Foundation for Advancing Rural Opportunity

Foundation for Advancing Rural Opportunity is a nonprofit organization that actively assists rural youth in Sri Lanka. We help diverse groups of young people to find sustainable employment and career opportunities in the rapidly growing business outsourcing industry, without them having to leave their domestic habitat. By facilitating the outsourcing of work from city to village via broadband internet connectivity, we help build broad base economic opportunity and promote social stability. By bridging the divide that separates rural youth from having access to equal opportunities, and by promoting economic cross-cultural collaboration in a post civil war nation, we strive to make a lasting change in society.
