The Paleontological Research Institution serves society by increasing and disseminating knowledge about the history of life.

Founded in 1932, the Paleontological Research Institution strengthens and communicates our understanding of the history of life on earth. Our two public venues-the Museum of the Earth and the Cayuga Nature Center-educate and engage the public with the help of our research, collections, and publications.
