Access2Democracy (a2d) is a non-profit NGO established in Athens and New York, aiming to promote the principles and practice of participatory e-democracy within the global arena, through novel uses of Information and Communication Technologies.
The mission and activities of access2democracy were Inspired by the successful "e-Vote: Vote for the EU you want" e-democracy experiment implemented during the Greek EU Presidency in 2003 and the "Online Global Poll" deployed for the 2002 UN Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg.
