Temple Beth El is a vibrant, inclusive Reform Jewish congregation of more than 950 households in Charlotte, North Carolina. We are a sacred home where people build meaningful relationships, celebrate Jewish life, learn and grow, care for one another, and act on our responsibility to help repair the world.

Our vision is to be a bold Jewish community of deep roots, sacred responsibility, and daring hope. We bring that vision to life through worship and music, lifelong learning, youth and family experiences, pastoral care, social justice, community partnerships, and the everyday work of helping people feel known, welcomed, and connected.

Located on Shalom Park, a 54-acre hub of Jewish life in Charlotte, Temple Beth El is the largest Jewish congregation in one of the country’s fastest-growing regions.
