Since 1993, the Girls After School Academy (GASA) has empowered low-income girls of color, ages 6 – 18 years old, living in San Francisco’s public housing to attain healthy, stable, independent lives by establishing a culture that affirms their dreams for the future. Located in Sunnydale- San Francisco’s most isolated, underserved, and dangerous public housing development, GASA provides services to over 300 girls annually.
