UCAN Head Start/Early Head Start/Healthy Start

Healthy Start is a federal program dedicated to reducing disparities in infant and maternal health status in high-risk communities.  Healthy Start supports women before, during, and after pregnancy by addressing their health and social service needs, strengthening family resilience, and engaging community partners to enhance systems of care.

UCAN's vision is that every Douglas and Josephine county resident has the resources and opportunities needed to reach their full social, civic, and economic potential, to be secure in their own lives and to be vital participants in their communities
