Headquartered in Houston, Texas, in 1992, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization called Arrow Child & Family Ministries (Arrow) was founded by a former foster child. Over its 30-year history, Arrow has grown to serve thousands of children and families annually throughout Texas and Maryland. Arrow is a recognized leader in providing innovative and evidence-based child welfare solutions that empower children to heal from neglect, abuse, abandonment, and trauma. Arrow is primarily funded by government contracts but raises private sector funds for start-up of new programs, and research and development. In FY22, Arrow served 2,572 children and 1,150 families. 81% of the children served are in Texas, and 19% are in Maryland.
