BREC's Baton Rouge Zoo is a place where people connect with animals.

• We are committed to providing excellence in animal care and welfare, education, recreation, conservation and research that collectively inspire respect for nature

We use our volunteers to teach the public about animals, animal handling, conservation, and other important aspects of wildlife.
