Catholic Charities of Central New Mexico

Catholic Charities' mission is to put faith in action to improve the lives of those in need, and our vision is to honor human dignity. We operate across Bernalillo, Sandoval, Valencia, and Santa Fe counties, providing a broad spectrum of services to individuals and families regardless of race, religion, country of origin, disability, gender, age, or sexual orientation.

We create hope for those in need by promoting self-sufficiency, strengthening families, fighting poverty and building community.

We pursue our mission through our service centers: our Children's Learning Center, which provides five-star NECPA-accredited early childhood education to infants through age five; our Center for Educational Opportunity and Career Pathways, which offers free GED preparation, ESL instruction, citizenship classes, and vocational training to adult learners; our Center for Self-Sufficiency and Housing Assistance, which provides housing vouchers, case management, and wraparound support to individuals and families experiencing homelessness; our Center for Refugee Support, which connects newly arrived families to education, health resources, legal services, and community; our Center for Immigration and Citizenship Legal Assistance, which provides low-cost legal services to immigrants and asylum seekers; our Center for Senior Services providing volunteer-based transportation for homebound seniors and other supports; and our Donation Center, which supports food and household essential needs for families in all of our programs.

Our staff are trained not just in service delivery but in advocacy, treating every client interaction as an opportunity to stand alongside someone and help them navigate systems that were not built with them in mind.
