Who we are:  We are a Section 501(c)(3) nonprofit created in 2018 and driven by residents.  We work

to reduce the number of long term vacant and problem properties, address blight, build community, and create economic opportunity.  We have gone from an annual budget of $2,500

to an annual budget of over $300,000.

What we do:  We find solutions to transform long term vacant and problem properties into affordable homes to build generational wealth and to create healthy environments in our historically disinvested neighborhood while we work to help residents become homeowners and community leaders.

How we do it:  We use innovative methods to investigate vacant and problem properties - locating heirs of long dead owners, tracking down forfeited companies and disreputable lenders, and partnering with lawyers to file lawsuits against irresponsible owners. 

Where we are:  We are in the Brooklyn and Curtis Bay communities in southernmost Baltimore City and the adjacent community of Brooklyn Park in northernmost Anne Arundel County.  Our communities are historically disinvested and diverse.  We are approximately one third Black, one third White, and one third Latine with a significant number of Asian residents.
