Founded in June 2014, Hopechain International was established as a non-profit organization with a mission to help poor kids to stay in school for privileged students and citizens to learn about, engage with, and help students in rural areas around the world. We believe in the importance of grounding the new, privileged generations in a culture of charity, cultural awareness, and humanitarianism. We know that teenagers are impressionable; if we show them how a little bit of help and hope can do so much for these impoverished people and their communities, they will take the experiences and grow to be better citizens.
