Year-round college preparation and summer internship program for high school youth in the metro Richmond area. PFF's Mission is to ensure that every motivated student with limited resources has a workplace internship in high school and can attend the college of their choice.

PFF requires a two year/three summer commitment of its student participants, providing access to employment and college prep programming for area youth.

Participants attend college prep programs and personal development seminars during the school year and participate in three, seven-week summer sessions, working four days a week with a PFF business sponsor and spending the fifth day in personal development workshops.

PFF provides all transportation to and from work throughout the summer. PFF also provides training to prepare students to start their job. Personal development days include exciting speakers and informative workshops on topics ranging from preparing for SATs to personal finance. PFF also requires all participants to establish a college savings account and to make saving money from summer earnings a priority.
