Family Promise North Shore Boston, Inc.

Family Promise North Shore Boston shelters newly homeless families through an interfaith network of 40 congregations and 700 volunteers on Boston's North Shore. Families in our program receive meals and overnight lodging through a series of houses of worship who take turns sheltering them for one week at a time on a rotating basis. Our guests also have access to our Day Center where professional social workers help them attain sustainable housing. We’ve found this to be a uniquely community-based response to the problem of family homelessness.
