Forest Park is America's Premier urban forest with over 5,000 acres of 'wilderness' in the City of Portland's West Hills overlooking the Willamette River. Forest Park is home to a wide array of flora and fauna, miles of hiking trails and many bike trails. Our mission is to maintain, preserve, protect, and improve the City of Portland's Forest Park.
