The Unitarian Universalist Women’s Federation (UUWF) is a faith-based organization that builds covenantal relationships among Unitarian Universalist (UU) women that equip us all to be better allies and co-conspirators in the movement for collective liberation. We are a Unitarian Universalist feminist organization that is particularly interested in the intersections between gender, race, generation, and class, and how we can be part of dismantling systems of gender, race, and class-based oppression. We honor the UU women who came before us to build the organization we have become, while also acknowledging that parts of our history have included white feminist practices that harm women of color. We believe that our future depends on repairing that harm and forging a new, more inclusive way forward. We embrace these principles as guideposts for our work:
