The Cat Academy

Partnering with local organizations and shelters to improve the adoption rates and decrease the time spent in shelters for cats by breaking down misconceptions and promoting reliable information on petcare.

Ultimately, the goal is to improve the adoption process and decrease shelter time for cats by providing a learning experience to potential and existing adopters through the use of educational substantive materials as well as social media. In order to achieve these goals, we will be working with other similar organizations.

This organization will also support and enforce a no-kill policy and will provide services, including medical, when appropriate and to the furthest extent possible. To the extent appropriate, animals will not be adopted unless neutered/spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

At our organization, the only thing it takes to become involved is respect and a desire to learn about cats, regardless of your experience.
