For more than thirty-six years Track Two: An Institute for Citizen Diplomacy (Track Two) has convened cultural and intellectual leaders from countries in conflict in immersive workshops and conferences to stimulate discussions, forge relationships and activate networks. These networks have in turn established formal partnerships in healthcare, peacebuilding, space exploration, literature, journalism, and the visual and performing arts. Our work has brought successful practices in conflict resolution, collaborative communications and emotional and psychological development to participants.
Cooperation around nuclear threats, climate change and mass migrations from war-torn areas is needed urgently. Track Two is responding to this urgency by growing its network of participants and its programs to invite cross-cultural expression, public discourse and all available means to shift perceptions.
