Ba Futuru / For the Future

Ba Futuru's vision is a Timor-Leste free of violence, where all citizens, especially women and children, are equipped with skills to engage in the country’s development in peaceful, positive and productive way. In order to achieve this vision Ba Futuru believes that it must transform the lives of vulnerable people in Timor-Leste, especially women and children, and those who affect their well-being, by improving their knowledge and skills and strengthening the structures for protection. We do this through advocacy, media, educational programming and training in conflict resolution and analysis, civic education, human rights, participatory teaching methods, violence prevention, and protection.
