South Carolina Aquarium

The South Carolina Aquarium, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, is committed to leading the way to connect people with water, wildlife and wild places.

For more than 25 years, the Aquarium has served as a world of natural wonder, a hub of STEM education, a driver of conservation action and a sanctuary of fun. Visitors connect with more than 5,000 animals representing South Carolina’s rich biodiversity while enjoying interactive programs, immersive exhibits and stunning waterfront views. Visitors can also step inside the Sea Turtle Care Center™, a working hospital dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of sick and injured sea turtles.
