At Clinton Hill Community & Early Childhood Center, we believe in building strong foundations for lifelong learning. Located in the heart of Newark’s South Ward, our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally responsive environment where children can thrive—socially, emotionally, and academically.

We serve children ages 2–13 through high-quality preschool, after-school, and summer enrichment programs that center the needs, interests, and individual abilities of every learner. Rooted in deep community partnerships and guided by a commitment to equity, we foster joyful, inclusive learning experiences that support whole-child development and prepare young people to lead, grow, and succeed.

Clinton Hill Community & Early Childhood Center has served Newark’s South Ward for over 50 years, providing high-quality early childhood and extended learning programs for children ages 2–13. Our work is rooted in a deep commitment to child development, family partnership, and educational equity.
