The Brooklyn Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, an organization that has represented the professional interests of architects for over a century, is now seeking a new full-time Executive Director to fulfill the Chapter’s mission and fuel its long-term growth into the future. Within the past five years, the Brooklyn Chapter of the AIA has grown to over 800 members and every year, the AIA embraces new challenges within its platform (i.e., equity and diversity, climate change, school safety, improvements to the use of buildings brought on by the pandemic, etc.).
In addition, the Chapter helps the public with architectural issues in their buildings or neighborhoods, provides scholarships to architecture students, work with NY City and State agencies to help the public and industry.
