Music National Service

Music National Service Initiative (MNS) seeks to strengthen and expand the field of music-based volunteerism and service in order to improve lives, build communities and engender global understanding of the common humanity of all people.

Research shows that music interventions can be effective in:

1. Underserved schools and communities to develop more successful students and youth; 2. Health care and therapeutic settings for patient recovery and improved functioning; 3. The public domain for increased civic engagement, diplomacy and peace.
