Applied Theater Action Institute is a theater art/social justice organization. We create unique theater arts programming and support the proliferation of applied theater as a medium for social transformation. We use theater and drama strategies to examine social issues, and offer resources to practitioners. We collaborate and support programs to increase civic engagement and accessible art. Our innovative social justice and theater projects serve both local and international communities, with a focus on reaching underserved populations.
