Family Care International, Inc.

Family Care International is dedicated to improving women's sexual and reproductive health and rights in developing countries, with a special emphasis on making pregnancy and childbirth safer. We address a range of urgent health issues, including maternal health, adolescent sexual and reproductive health, family planning, unsafe abortion, and violence against women. FCI works with governments, non-governmental organizations and international agencies. We encourage and support collaborative groups and networks that link local, national, regional and global partners. FCI also gathers and produces print and audio-visual material and distributes it to more than 2000 program-planners, policy-makers, health workers and other interested individuals around the world.
