United for Health Abyssinia

United for Health Abyssinia (UHA) is currently in the process of registering as a 501(c) (3) US based non-profit organization founded by a group of concerned professionals. The purpose of UHA is to ameliorate the Ethiopian health crises through improving the control of tuberculosis. We will achieve our purpose by building the capacity of Ethiopian hospitals and communities, one hospital andregion at a time. Our first project is to increase the capacity of Debre Tabor Hospital in South Gondar, Ethiopia to treat TB and to reach out to the community it serves and to ensure those enrolled on TB treatment receive the necessary support to finish the full course of their medications. UHA is invested in building the capacity of the hospital in collaboration with local government health offices as well as international partners working in the field.
