    Founded in 1985, Montessori International Children's House is dedicated to the Montessori philosophy and method of education as set forth by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI). We are an active, viable institution set upon a solid foundation of excellence in faculty, administration, and facilities. The school is non-denominational and non-discriminatory; we welcome faculty and children from all backgrounds. We are guided by our purpose and mission statements: Purpose Statement • Our purpose is to develop the full potential of each student as an individual and responsible member of our world society. Our mission is to provide a Montessori education, guided by AMI principles, that fosters the intellectual curiosity and creativity of our students. At MICH, children, staff and families collaborate to build and maintain a respectful, diverse and nurturing school community.
