Meals on Wheels of Mercer County's goals include alleviating hunger and malnutrition among homebound individuals, and providing support that allows individuals to remain as safe and independent as possible within their own residences, thus preventing premature long-term placement in institutional settings. Meals on Wheels of Mercer County is a comprehensive nutrition program committed to providing daily hot, nutritious meals and related services which are designed to promote the independence, dignity, health and well being of our homebound customers in the Mercer County area.
