Myanmar Foundation for Analytic Education

Myanmar Foundation for Analytic Education supports education programs in Myanmar, including the Pre-Collegiate Program of Yangon. P-CP is a post-high school program that prepares promising Myanmar students with critical thinking, writing and English skills in order to get them admitted to overseas universities as undergraduates. The program includes a heavy emphasis on community service, including a four-month internship with an NGO or social business for all students. A high percentage of graduates return to Myanmar after their studies abroad. This Program seeks to nurture a small cohort of change makers, youth who will become perceptive, empathetic, critical, capable, and proactive in engaging the society around them. After sixteen months of academic work and internships, these students will gain admission and financing at leading liberal arts colleges abroad. After graduation they will either return home immediately or pursue graduate degrees relevant to the development of Myanmar.
