Kutaisi Education Development and Employment Center

Kutaisi Education Development and Employment Center is a non-governmental non-profit organization, whose mission is to improve the quality of social and economic conditions of youth, strengthen civil society and provide employment opportunities for youth though the promotion of education and training courses in the Imereti region of Georgia. Kutaisi Education Development and Employment Center is committed to three major program activities:

• Child protective Services
• Development of Civil Society
• Support of Economic Development

Our programs have the following goals:

• Protect the right of children and youth with special needs requiring special care
• Increase income generation opportunities for vulnerable households
• Increase youth awareness to prevent health problems including HIV/AIDS, alcohol and drug abuse
• Facilitate the adoption of healthy lifestyles for youth, increase their civic responsibilities and community involvement, encourage self –development and improve their prospects for the future
• Partner with local authorities and non-governmental institutions to improve protective services of youth based on community needs
