Ocean Accelerator

Ocean Accelerator operates an annual five-month program to accelerate ten start-up companies with knowledge, relationships, coaching and seed funding. Ocean uniquely includes a concurrent spiritual journey that helps founders clarify their personal mission. Missional alignment enhances endurance and increases the chance of success in their personal life and business. A "Demo Day" will be held midway through the program to initiate relationships with local and regional venture capitalists.

Unpolished training (through Ocean Accelerator) is offered year-round. Training classes host up to 15 founders per session for nine weekly, 4-hour sessions hosted at the Ocean Accelerator office in downtown Cincinnati. Training is followed by 12 months of cohort mentoring, providing groups the opportunity to meet collectively with a trained mentor. Cohorts can run simultaneously, impacting close to 60 entrepreneurs each year.

Unpolished also hosts networking nights every six weeks throughout the year (seven total) and attracts 250-400 attendees at each event. The Unpolished Conference, typically held annually in September, brings together nearly 1,000 attendees for two days of speakers and breakout sessions.
