The Community Builders, Inc.

The mission of The Community Builders is to build and sustain strong communities where people of all incomes can achieve their full potential.

We do this by developing, financing, and operating high quality affordable housing, by coordinating access to support services, and by planning and implementing other community and economic development initiatives critical to the communities we serve. We focus particularly on meeting the needs of lower income people not effectively served by market resources. We favor a multi-disciplinary approach and engagements of significant scale that can have lasting impact.

The Community Builders works in partnership with neighborhood groups, residents, and public and private agencies. We seek a role that complements the skills of our partners in order to create teams with a powerful combination of neighborhood understanding and technical skills.
