COUNCIL FOR NATIVE HAWAIIAN ADVANCEMENT

The Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement is a member-based non-profit organization that has served the Native Hawaiian community since 2001. Hitting our 20 year mark in August 2021, we have lots of goals that are check marked off by the many different programs we offer to hep uplift our lāhui. Through our Trades program that we offer state-wide, we bring short-term training for a specific line of work with the intent to increase household income and uplift our local families. Through our KūHana Business classes, we bring together many micro-enterprise or small businesses and provide them the educational background on how to start or run a business. They have a chance to network and we provide many resources for them to gain access in the community to help them grow. Through our Housing Program, we provide financial literacy through group education workshops and we offer ono-on-one housing counseling services. Through our Loan Fund, we support small businesses to increase their capacity and we provide home construction loans to help Hawaiian Homestead ʻohana realize their dreams of home ownership. We even have an annual convention that brings together hundreds even thousands of of Native Hawaiians all over the world into one space, to network and discuss important issues and finding a way to make changes in our community or our government that would help benefit Native Hawaiians and our future.
