The mission of the San Diego County Dental Foundation is to promote public understanding of oral health and provide access to dental care in our region. We transform smiles and change lives for those in need through education, outreach, and funding key initiatives.
In partnership with Veterans Village of San Diego (VVSD), the San Diego County Dental Foundation created and operates an oral health clinic to serve San Diego veterans. Since opening our flagship project in 2015, the state-of-the-art John Geis DDS Dental Clinic has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars in pro bono oral health care to formerly homeless veterans, restoring their oral health and overall well-being.
