BILD - Bosnia Initiatives for Local Development

BILD is an organization of dedicated individuals who implement practical, local-level development projects in northeastern Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH). Our mission is to help BiH become a stable, democratic and prosperous member of the European Union. Our organization offers unpaid internships to undergraduate and graduate students. Interns gain valuable experience at the grassroots of a post-conflict society while improving their education/development/leadership skills. Most interns participate in the Tuzla/Doboj Summer Institute while others help local organizations develop their capacity. We are especially interested in developing the IT sector as a way of creating jobs for youth and for bringing people together across cultural and entity lines, generating mutual respect and a shared future.
