Westminster Rescue Mission
Acerca de
Organization Overview: Established in 1968, the Westminster Rescue Mission is a community that provides clinical, physical, and spiritual resources to heal the addicted and feed the hungry. We take a holistic approach with Christ as the foundation of our work. The Mission serves Carroll County and surrounding communities through its programs: The Addiction Healing Center and the Mission Food Program.
The Addiction Healing Center (AHC) is a long-term, residential, faith-based treatment program for men. Embracing best practices in the field of addiction and utilizing evidence-based programming, treatment takes a holistic approach, working with individuals to address spiritual, emotional, mental, physical, and employment issues to help clients find and live in long-term recovery.
The Westminster Rescue Mission is also dedicated to overcoming the growing problem of hunger and food insecurity in Maryland. The Mission Food Program — a distribution partner of the Maryland Food Bank and the largest re-distributor of food in Carroll County — provides hunger relief through our distribution network and community outreach services in partnership with dozens of area agencies and charities.
