Quetzaltrekkers is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization based in León, Nicaragua. The idea of Quetzaltrekkers is simple: hike volcanoes, help kids. QT offers adventure hikes and volcano tours, and then donates 100% of the profits to five social projects that work with street kids and other at-risk youth in León. All of the guides are volunteers and dedicate at least three months to leading hikes and spending time with the children served by the five projects.
