Global Citizens for Sustainable Development’s mission is to empower youth, women and men to bring about lasting, positive change in their own communities.
We work in; Ecologically Responsible Rural Development, Education, Youth Leadership and Empowerment, International Workshops and Networking on Civil and Environmental Issues.
GCSD’s flagship project is the “Vedike Eco School’; a ‘green’ school for underprivileged children, with principles of sustainability underpinning the school’s design, construction, operations and curriculum. Vedike will provide a nurturing environment for needy children to learn and grow, in a setting of ecological responsibility.
